What would miche do if she had only 6 months left to live?
She would
- tell all the people she loves, that she loves them dearly.
- send a personalised note/letter/gift to all her good friends and people who have touched her life, telling them how important they are and how they have made her life worthwhile.
- spend a quiet but meaningful evening with her parents.
- spend a quiet but meaningful evening with her god-family.
- save a stray dog or two.
- travel to prague.
- give my teddy bears away.
- try to write a decent poem or short story.
- pay attention in class for once.
- learn to forgive herself and those who have perhaps done her wrong.
- drive to thailand.
- walk down orchard road dressed in pink and purple only.
- picnic by the beach
- finish reading "dreams of the red chamber" in chinese
- get the giant teddy bear i always wanted.
- perform one last time
- buy a dress / skirt
- watch a cheesy, tacky, gawdy comedy
- pat a snake
- throw a party on a bus
- sky dive and bungee jump
- walk all around singapore
- eat nothing but vegetables for a week
- burn all her photos, diaries and letters. delete this blog.
- cry with all her might
- be happy and try to stay happy till the end
- be amazed by the simple things in life
- sleep at least 8 hours per day and not more than 10 for a week
- write a letter to johnny depp
- plant something
- be a organ donor, give whatever can still be used. (not my liver though, too much alcohol in it)
- get blind drunk, like seriously blind drunk
- draw/paint/compose a last picture
- she hates taking pictures, but yeah, take a picture with all her loved ones.
- be totally ladylike for a whole day. (i.e. dont swear, curse or be mean)
- cycle to changi and back.
- attend church everyday
- take all the bus services available in singapore
- get 2 tattoos
- buy cup noodles and eat them by the roadside.
- colour her hair in multi-hues
- draw up a will
- climb a tree
- remember to smile.
- compete in one last basketball tournament
- debate competitively one last time
- eat all the gelato she wants
- eat all the dairy products she wants
- celebrate the life that's been
- Thank God.

what would you do if you had only 6 months left to live?this was the poster at the bus shelter i alighted on monday thursday night on my way back home. and i thought of the things i would do if i only had 6 months left to live.

methinks miche's allergic to the sun. or rather the sun maketh miche depressed. miche was freaking depressed when she came back from Korea and it was so freaking hot in singapore. and she was well, slightly happier during the haze cause there was no sun! but yeah, the sun is out today and she has an headache. bleah.
have a safe flight nat! and keng too! to NY. i want to go to NY too!!!.. =P
miche is back to work in the office.

staying over at rens place tonight. it is hari raya puasa. haha yeah, i "celebrate" hari raya puasa too. called aaron just now to wish him a happy hari raya. cause he is alone there and i thought it would be nice to call him. then i thought of nat. nat is flying off to New York on friday. i will miss her. she is bringing cookie monster along with her to new york. hehe. trying to finish up my presentation for 18th Century poetry on William Cowper's The Task. hahaha but it really aint getting anywhere... =P

miche's sitting in the dark at the moment. it has been 3 months since the lights bulbs in her room has gone burst and she hasnt been bothered to go and get replacements. in fact, she's gotten accustomed to sitting in the dark.
i am really sorry for how things turned out. you have no idea how bad i feel or how much guilt i put myself. if there was another way for me to do this, i would but i dont know any other way. i dont know what else is there for me to do. i can only tell you i am sorry. terribly sorry.

drian passed miche the econs bible last night and she flipped through it causally and found her old econs notes in it. it dawned on her, she is a freaking nerd. this is revenge for all the times she called al a geek. hai. miche cant believe that she actually made notes for school like yeah. oh well, she is such a nerd. sobs.
miche has a huge headache now. +'(

am sitting in the office, with no one but me and the intern. i turned up this morning to an empty office. like seriously empty. was wondering where the rest of the world (i.e. my directors and boss and officer was). found out that all my bosses were on course with the big boss. and my intern was on time off. and officer was late. hai. so yeah.
anyway, there are no bosses in the offices for the whole day.
thank you marky for the blue rattle bear. it is really sweet of you.
oh oh, hahah nat, mund, dom and mart were horrified to find out that miche has a blog and they are all mentioned on it. so i wonder if they can ever find this place. hahahahhaha...
okay, back to work, am contemplating what i am going to have for lunch. a little late though. hmmmm.
miche is a tad sleepy. so much work to do.

decided to blog instead of turning just now. been a while since i wrote anything and in fact there are many things i want to write about. but you know been doing so many assignments that i cant look at anymore words for a while but then again. words are all we have as utter by guilderstern (i think) in stoppard's play.
my best friend in primary school got married a week ago. she's my age and i met up with some of my other good friends in primary school. and i realised how much we have changed. or rather how much i drifted away from them. for starters, i am the only cuckoo still studying. yup, everyone has a job. and i am studying and erm yeah english literature, soft option i could see in their eyes when they asked me about it.
met adrian, by accident the other when rens wanted waffles. and we met up with him again subsequently on wednesday night. it sure brought back many wonderful memories of how i use to tutor drian at venetia at sixth ave. the many nights we were there, joking laughing trying to make economics so much easier and fun for him. and how history was his comfort subject (well hahha econs was mine)
on the way home on thurday night from the office, i passed by the pines. and i thought of sam and josh and jake and john and yes you too driel. i was flipping my diary today and realised it is going to be jake's birthday soon.
went past wine wise on wednesdy night on my way home from sixth ave, i thought of lex and how perhaps we should go and sit there and sip our wines again one day soon. we havent been to hanabi for a while and we were supposed to go for supper a long long time ago.
tuesday was marky OnO's birthday, happy birthday OnO! hahah i called you at the stroke of midnight to wish you happy birthday alright, and i was DEAD tired. =P
monday, i sent aaron a really random email. well i wished him happy ramadan.
i dont mean to be angsty, cause i am not, i am more melancholic and nostalgic than anything. perhaps it is the way i sound, but yeah i am not always that. give me a choice, i will go and hide away at a corner of the world and see if you will fine me.

in the fit of the moment last night at around 0130 hours, miche decided to look for a wallet in the midst of the clatter called her room. looking for the toscano wallet her mum passed to her a couple of years ago, cause she vaguely remembered she wanted to bring that with her to korea but she didnt and that the other wallet she had bought, was the same wallet that mund carries. so yup. in the fit of the moment. but alas, she couldnt find the wallet so she decided to pack her room. which resulted in her fallling asleep only around 0700 hours this morning. hahah. on the bright side, she found out that the modem adapter of her new modem which hasnt been used for the last four months, is perfectly suitable for her keyboard. so finally, after 3 whole years (she loaned her adapter to mrs c and the 2003 team to peru, cause it is a changeable voltage adapter and she never got it back, alongside her beloved nike duffer bag) she can finally play her keyboard again. time to get it fixed though, parts of it sound out of tune. haha.

miche bought a 200 gb external hard disk last night. so much extra storage space, how cool is that man. bought another 512 mb thumbdrive for 18 bucks. and a cool silver coloured usb hub. oh-kay sound like a computer geek now. but it is cool. well to me at least. cause now the comp is going so much faster. itunes is now on the external drive. lala.
alright off to a korean performace tonight.
