Let me make a few things very painfully clear tonight:
(1) DEP Advanced is still pending decision. No concrete finalisations have been made as to when the interviews are, how many people we are taking. As far as we are concern, the applications are still at the stage of consideration. and no, we will not release any prior information regarding the advanced programme until further notice. Furthermore, there is no cause for worry given that the programme is due to start only after the completion of the GCSE O Levels. Hence, i believe it is the wish of the committee that your PRIMARY focus is on your studies at the moment.
(2) ANY and ALL form of speculations on the released results of the two lower divisions are all unwarranted andn unnecessary. UNLESS, and i firmly believe, UNLESS individuals have been in the interview room as an INTERVIEWER, all comments on the outcome of the programme should be kept to yourself.
(3) From hence, ALL QUERIES abt the programme should be addressed by aaron, me, Vishal for the Junior division and Yongwei for the Intermediate Division. We will answer all queries to our BEST abilities.
(4) The DEP isnt a one size fit all programme. each division will be TAILORED to suit the learning styles and needs of the participants. I STRESS, the selection process is totally transparent and fair. IT IS BASED SOLELY ON MERITOCRACY, depending on your PAPER APPLICATION and INTERVIEW. SHOULD an individual be a deserving member of DEP, rest assured that he/she have equal opportunities to join the programme. Should there be any queries, similarly address it to aaron, me or the instructors in concern.
(5) ALL decisions made by the panel are final and uncontestable. we ask that this decisions are to be respected and held in regard. SHOULD THERE BE ANY DISSATISFACTION abt the outcome, please approach me or aaron or the respective instructors to CLARIFY matters.
I hope that this clears matters up for every one who is concerned abt the administration and selection criteria of the DEP. I reinterate and emphasize that SHOULD ANY INDIVIDUAL be it a DEBATER or a PARENT who has queries abt the programme, please DO NOT hestitate to contact me or aaron to CLARIFY matters and to get a better picture.
