have to admit today was a rather interesting day. good to see the many people whom i havent seen for a while. namely chere, michelle, auyong and david.
went to church as usual in the morning. hah was ministry fair sunday. kinda got accosted by sam's mum, who tried to co-opt me into children's ministry. hah i told her i was afraid of children. haha(al is perfect for the job i say, reading bible stories to pre-schoolers). anyway, decided to talk to joshua abt helping out in yam so yeah think i am going for the next committee meeting. haha figured since i am so good at crapping might as well put it to use in church.
dep interviews in the afternoon. well, best of luck to all of you. but yeah, dep isnt the end all be all.
went back to tanah merah in the evening with aaron. haha but i was at expo. why cos my aunt's church which also happens to be rachel's church had some parents' appreciation nite service cum dinner. first thing miche notices, there are lots of old people around. and yeah so i was kinda out of place with my converse sneakers and black bag. second thing, when the pastor went up there. i realised that it was a hokkien service. i was kinda taken aback and the waiters haha couldnt understand my english. praise and worship in hokkien was an eye-opener. i have to say hah they were quite innovative with the music. the speaker was some pastor from sarawak so he spoke cantonese accented hokkien which was quite hilarious to listen too. and he had very funny stories to tell. so yeah. was at a hokkien service tonight. anyway, nope i am not going to my aunt's church. haha so yeah.
miche's tired. going off in a while after i finish writing some stuff. so yeah miche's says goodnight.
